Fragile X Gene and Ovarian Function Research Study
The Reproductive Endocrine Unit at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston, MA is conducting a study to investigate the relationship between the Fragile X gene and ovarian function.
Daughters in families affected with Fragile X spectrum disorders are wanted to participate as study subjects. Subjects must:
- Be between 14 and 20 years old.
- Have had at least one menstrual cycle in the last 3 months.
Study participation involves a questionnaire, a physical exam, ultrasound of the ovaries, and a blood draw for hormones and genetic testing, on site at MGH in Boston, MA.
